Crusaders Finally Reach the Win Column

Laurens Academy, its roster depleted by heavy losses from an 8-4, finally broke into the win column with a 66-30 over Jefferson Davis Academy at homecoming on Saturday afternoon. The game was postponed by rain on Friday night.

Freshman quarterback Garrett Murphy threw 6 touchdown passes, and end Diamonte Grant was named Player of the Week by the Laurens County Touchdown Club.
