Dale Stigamier to assume Executive Leadership of LCK
January 8, 2026LCK announced January 6, 2026 that President Dale Stigamier has formally assumed the role of executive leader, responsible for the firm’s strategic direction and daily operations, as the company continues to grow and serve clients across the Southeast.
This exciting leadership transition follows Mickey Layden’s announcement that she will step back from her role as Chief Executive Officer after 32 remarkable years building the firm into one of the region’s most respected owner’s representation and project management companies. Layden will transition to the role of Founder and Chair Emeritus, where she will continue to be active in the community, business development and key client relationships.

With more than 27 years of experience in commercial real estate development and construction, Stigamier has been instrumental in LCK’s growth and operational excellence. Over the past nine years, he has worked closely with Layden to strengthen the firm’s platform, develop operational standards and position LCK for long-term success.

The firm’s team of 19 project management professionals, supported by experienced marketing and operations staff, continues to serve clients as trusted owner’s representatives across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Stigamier holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati and brings extensive experience in institutional real estate development, construction and asset management across multiple U.S. markets. His project experience spans office, medical, retail, industrial, mixed-use, historic redevelopment, urban infill and public-private partnership developments. Stigamier has held leadership roles with the Urban Land Institute and Historic Columbia, served as past chair of the Columbia Planning Commission, is a graduate of Leadership Charleston and was recently recognized as a member of the South Carolina 500, a list of impactful leaders.
Layden joined Colliers International of South Carolina in 1986 and has served as Executive Vice President, overseeing both LCK and Colliers’ Real Estate Management division. Her leadership established LCK’s reputation for integrity, client stewardship and community impact. These values remain central to the firm today.
