Davis & Floyd’s Chris Haynes selected as Forty Under 40 honoree

Davis & Floyd, Inc. announced that Chris Haynes, PLA has been selected as one of Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 honorees. He will be recognized at an awards ceremony on May 17 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Based in Davis & Floyd’s Charleston office, Haynes is the private development market sector leader and senior landscape architect for the firm. He is a licensed landscape architect, certified arborist, and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate. Haynes is an active member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Urban Land Institute, S.C. Economic Developers’ Association, and Charleston Young Professionals. He is a current participant in the American Council of Engineering Companies of South Carolina Future Leaders program.

Outside of his work, Haynes volunteers with and supports numerous community organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House, Trident United Way, Palmetto Military Support Group, Lowcountry Land Trust, and Ducks Unlimited.
Haynes received his Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences and Landscape Systems from the University of Tennessee and Master of Landscape Architecture from Clemson University.
