Deadline Approaching for Freedom BBQ with AG Alan Wilson, First of Upcoming Candidate Events

The Laurens County Republican Party is reminding the community that time is running out to secure tickets for the upcoming Freedom BBQ featuring South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, August 21.
This annual gathering promises a night of good food, fellowship, and an opportunity to hear directly from one of South Carolina’s top leaders. The event will highlight the importance of community engagement as the 2025 election season approaches.
“This will be the first in a series of events featuring candidates for governor,” said Valerie Jones, Chair of the Laurens County Republican Party. “Our goal is to give Laurens County residents the chance to meet these candidates face-to-face, ask questions, and hear directly from them about their vision for South Carolina.”

$2 Red Hot BBQ Raffle
As part of the Freedom BBQ, the $2 Red Hot BBQ Raffle will feature an array of items donated by local businesses and individuals.
A special perk for LCRP members: anyone who has purchased a LCRP membership card will receive two free raffle tickets for this event. These complimentary tickets will be distributed prior to the drawing.
