Derrick, Stubbs & Stith Hires Healthcare Consulting Manager

COLUMBIA, SC – February 5, 2010 – Sharon Walden has joined Derrick, Stubbs & Stith, LLP, the Columbia-based accounting firm, as Healthcare Consulting Manager. Walden has over 26 years of experience in the healthcare field, specializing in hospitals and medical practices.
“I am very excited to be able to bring my skill set in healthcare finances to a major accounting firm like Derrick, Stubbs & Stith,” said Walden. “Healthcare is a diverse industry, and I am confident that my background will help all of our healthcare clients get the customized financial services they need to be successful.”
Walden’s experience ranges from large hospitals and assisted living facilities to medical and dental practices. She is a member of AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders), MGMA, HFMA, SCMGMA (past president). Her new position will bring comprehensive, financial and operational services to Derrick, Stubbs & Stith healthcare clients. Walden graduated from Louisiana State University.
