DESA’s Meg Pridemore Receives General Contractor License

COLUMBIA, SC – July 28, 2009 – Meg Pridemore, construction manager at DESA, Inc., has recently received a general contractor’s license from the state of South Carolina.
Pridemore was approved by LLR after successfully passing the business management and law exam as well as the unlimited building contractor exam.
Pridemore has over 23 years of experience within the construction industry, and has been employed with DESA since the summer of 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in building science from Clemson University and is a certified Chapter 1 public school construction inspector and a certified sediment control and erosion prevention inspector within the state. In addition, Pridemore is a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), the Council of Educational Facility Planners (CEFPI) and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
