DNA Creative Communications Recognized at SCIABC Palmetto Awards

GREENVILLE, SC – DNA Creative Communications (DNA) received four awards from the South Carolina chapter of International Association of Business Communicators (SCIABC) on August 26, in Columbia, S.C. DNA was recognized for their exceptional work on projects they implemented for clients from June of 2013 to May of 2014.

“We are honored to have been recognized with four outstanding awards from the SCIABC,” said Debbie Nelson, President and Founder of DNA. “These awards demonstrate how hard our team works.”

The SCIABC Palmetto Awards Ceremony brought together public relations, marketing and advertising professionals from across the state. Of the 47 categories, DNA brought four back to Greenville:

  •  Writing:  Award of Excellence for Shine the Light on Your Nonprofit Column
  • Corporate Social Responsibility: Award of Merit for Be Freshwater Friendly (client: Renewable Water Resources)
  •  Government Communications Programs: Award of Merit for Potty Protocol (client: Renewable Water Resources)
  •  Nonprofit Campaigns: Award of Merit for SC Children’s Theatre Individual Giving Campaign (client: SC Children’s Theatre)

The Palmetto Awards showcases excellence in communications projects and campaigns, digital communications, social media work, and other collateral material.  The proceeds from the event benefit an endowed scholarship at the University of South Carolina in memory of Mike Wilkerson, past president and founding member of the South Carolina chapter.
