Doctors Wellness Center Opens New State-of-the-Art Wellness Facility in Forest Acres

COLUMBIA, SC – Doctors Wellness Center and Progressive Physical Therapy announce the grand opening of their new state-of-the-art wellness and rehabilitation facility at 2005 N. Beltline Blvd. in Columbia. A ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the opening on Friday, May 22.
Doctors Wellness Center and Progressive Physical Therapy are committed to offering patients a complete program of care. Each offers a range of services including occupational therapy, pain management, rehabilitation services, personal training and nutritional assessment. The new facility will serve both businesses, which are owned by UCI Medical Affiliates Inc.
The almost 6,000-square-foot center offers spacious amenities including rooms designated for group classes for all skill levels, including aerial yoga. It also features the latest in cardiovascular and strength training equipment, non-invasive Lila Laser body sculpting, red light skin therapy, as well as secure extended-hour access for members. All of this is complemented by the multidisciplinary team of health and wellness professionals ranging from physicians to physical therapists and dieticians. Additional amenities like a smoothie bar are slated to be added in the near future.
Daniel Schrall, director of operations for Doctors Wellness Center, said he hopes the relocation will help both businesses better accommodate the growing needs “Doctors Wellness Center is an organization that has earned the trust and respect of the community at large,” he said. “We are the place to exercise when skill is needed regarding injury and wellness.
