$25,000 AT&T contribution aids South Carolina residents impacted by Hurricane Matthew

AT&T* is contributing $25,000 to the One SC Fund of the Central Carolina community Foundation to help restore South Carolina communities following Hurricane Matthew. The contribution is part of the company’s $100,000 commitment to providing relief for those affected by the hurricane.

The One SC Fund will receive $25,000 to support aid to those in the state where needs are the greatest.

“Coming so quickly after last year’s flooding, Hurricane Matthew is another opportunity to South Carolinians to call upon our long heritage of overcoming even the toughest challenges through our resolve, resiliency and willingness to help one another,” said Pamela Lackey, president of AT&T-South Carolina. “At AT&T, we are committed to providing the communication resources which are needed every day and which are especially important in times like these. But we are also committed to doing our part to help our friends, neighbors and communities recover from disasters like this storm.”

Customers can also support the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Matthew by sending a text with ‘MATTHEW’ to 90999 to make a $10 donation.**
