Dominium hosted groundbreaking ceremony for Haven at Congaree Pointe

Construction will soon begin on the developer’s first new affordable housing development in South Carolina

Dominium, a leading affordable housing owner, developer and manager, celebrated the groundbreaking of Haven at Congaree Pointe on May 22. Haven at Congaree Pointe is Dominium’s first new affordable housing project in the state of South Carolina. The community will offer a mix of one and two-bedroom apartment homes available at 60% of area median income to seniors aged 55 and older once construction is completed in late 2023.

Residents of Haven at Congaree Pointe will enjoy the community’s expansive courtyard and grilling area, a fitness center, theater room, salon and community room with a kitchen. Haven at Congaree Pointe is directly across the street from Bible Way Church of Atlas Road, located with easy access to Interstate 77and just 15 minutes from downtown Columbia.
