Dorchester County’s 2022 Hurricane Preparedness Expo at Ashley River Park

Join the Dorchester County Emergency Management Department on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 10am to 1pm for the 9th Annual Hurricane Preparedness Expo. The event will be held at the Ashley River Park located at 200 Renken Road in Summerville.
All are welcome to attend to learn about hurricane preparedness from local public safety and non-profit organizations, enjoy live music, and engage in activities and give-a-ways.
This year, Dorchester County’s Emergency Management Department and Tradesman Brewing Company have partnered together to feature a brand new and one-of-a-kind “Know Your Zone” Hurricane Seasonal Lager at the expo by offering samples to those 21 years of age and older. Access to hurricane preparedness information and evacuation routes are featured on each can. This limited release beer will be available at Lowes Foods stores beginning on June 4.
This pet-friendly, rain or shine event is free if you register at dorchesterparks.org or if you have an Ashley River Park Annual Pass.
