Douglas Clark Rejoins Homeowners Mortgage as Regional Manager

Clark Will Serve as Regional Manager for Alabama, Florida and Georgia
COLUMBIA, SC – January 3, 2013 – Homeowners Mortgage Enterprises, a full service regional mortgage-banking firm headquartered in Columbia, S.C., announces that Douglas Clark, who previously worked at Homeowners from 1988-2007 and served as its CEO prior to its merging with parent company, CoastalStates Bank, has rejoined the company as of October 2012 to serve as Regional Manager for Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Mr. Clark is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive experience in international business and the mortgage industry.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina with degrees in history and accounting, Mr. Clark previously worked for Price Waterhouse before joining Homeowners. In addition, Mr. Clark has experience with real estate development and served as Chief Financial Officer for a company that specialized in resort real estate sales and development and where he also assisted with acquisitions of large resort developments. Mr. Clark has served on the Fannie Mae Customer Advisory Board, and he is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, South Carolina Association of CPA’s, the National Mortgage Bankers Association and the Georgia Community Bankers Association.
