Dr. Jacqueline Watson, Dermatologist, Joins South Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care

COLUMBIA, SC – May 9, 2014 – South Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care (SCVSEC), a specialty veterinary practice with 24-hour emergency care, announces that Jacqueline Watson, DVM, DACVD, has joined the practice and will treat all dermatology cases.
Dr. Watson completed her Bachelor of Science from James Madison University in 2004, her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of Minnesota in 2008, and her residency training in veterinary dermatology from University of Tennessee in 2012. She practiced veterinary dermatology at several specialty practices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania before joining SCVSEC and has lectured at the local and national levels and conducted research on pyoderma and alopecia X.
She is board-certified in veterinary dermatology by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society. Dr. Watson will treat cases having to do with allergies and other skin concerns in pets.
