Duck Creek Technologies goes public

Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of SaaS-delivered enterprise software to the property and casualty  insurance industry, announced on August 13 the pricing of its initial public offering of 15,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $27.00 per share. The shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on August 14, 2020 under the symbol “DCT.” On opening day, the shares soared and traded in a range between $37.50 and $44.50. On August 26, shares of Duck Creek were trading at $41.81.

Duck Creek Technologies, Inc. was founded in 2016 in Columbia, South Carolina and is now headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. The company serves insurance carriers and leaders.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan and BofA Securities served as lead book-running managers for the proposed offering. Barclays and RBC Capital Markets also acted as book-running managers for the proposed offering. JMP Securities, Needham & Company, Stifel, William Blair, D.A. Davidson & Co, Raymond James and Loop Capital Markets acted as co-managers for the proposed offering.
