On Feb. 9, 2011 at, Randolph Hospital in Asheboro, N.C., Wilson addressed the audience of area medical group managers with a presentation titled “Optimizing the EHR Opportunity in the Economic Stimulus.” The presentation provided key points about the state of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), and related financial incentives related to electronic health records.
As president and founder of E-Scribe, Wilson is responsible for market analysis, strategic partnerships, and long-range planning. Prior to forming E-Scribe, Wilson served 10 years in sales, sales training, and sales management at international pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough. He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. in 1991. He is active at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, and in a number of professional and social organizations throughout North and South Carolina. Wilson resides in Greenville, S.C.
