ECPI University Selected Top School in Military Advanced Education’s 2015 Guide for Colleges & Universities

December 8, 2014

COLUMBIA, SC – ECPI University has once again been designated as a Top School by Military Advanced Education (MAE). Each year, the MAE Guide spotlights colleges and universities that adhere to the highest principles and best practices in military and veterans’ education. Featured in the December issue of MAE, the guide is now available online at www.mae-kmi.com.

The guide presents the results of a questionnaire aimed at the military-supportive policies enacted at more than 600 institutions of higher learning. MAE’s 2015 Guide to Colleges & Universities arms students with information about institutions that go out of their way to give back to men and women in uniform.

This year, schools were evaluated on their military culture, financial aid, flexibility, on-campus support, and online support services. The resulting information will enable prospective students to quickly target schools that follow best practices in military education, and then put these in context with other academic or career considerations.

“This honor marks the second time in the past several weeks that ECPI University has been recognized for its commitment to military and veteran students,” says ECPI University Executive Director of Military Education Bob Larned. “We’re honored that so many veterans and service members trust ECPI to help them expand their career options and make the transition to civilian life.”

Last month, ECPI University announced that it was selected as Best for Vets for the fourth straight year by Military Times. Ranked number two nationwide among online and nontraditional schools, ECPI University has been rated among the top three since 2012.
