EDTS Adds Two on IT Engineering Support Team

COLUMBIA, SC – November 11, 2013 – Information technology engineers William Green and Ted Nichols have joined the staff of EDTS, a full-service technology consulting firm specializing in network security, managed IT services and advanced infrastructure for Southeastern business, as Support Engineers.
Born in Honduras and a long-time resident of District Heights, Maryland, Mr. Green has more than a decade of professional information technology experience in higher education and business-to-business environments, and specializes in Microsoft server administration, networking and virtualization. A graduate of Voorhees College with a B.S. degree in Computer Science, he is a Microsoft Certified system administrator, desktop administrator and technology specialist, among other accreditations. Prior to joining EDTS, Mr. Green worked on the information technology team at Paine College.
Mr. Nichols joins EDTS after serving in IT support and management for Blue Cross Blue Shield. A native of Pusan, Korea, he has more than a decade of experience in networking and system administration. He holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Auburn University and an M.S. degree in Physics from New Mexico State University. A Cisco Certified Network Associate and Microsoft Certified System Administrator and Systems Engineer, he also holds advanced certifications in networking and security from CompTIA.
As support engineers, both Mr. Green and Mr. Nichols will help ensure that critical IT systems are available, optimized, and secure, while assisting EDTS customers in increasing team productivity and reducing cost associated with information technology. They will operate across the firm’s Augusta, Columbia and Greenville office footprints.
