EDTS Named To Top Ten of South Carolina’s Fastest-Growing Companies

GREENVILLE, SC – October 31, 2012 – EDTS,a full-service technology consulting firm specializing in networking,security and managed services support solutions for Southeasternbusinesses, has been named the seventh overall fastest-growing smallcompany in South Carolina, according to the inaugural statewide RoaringTwenties list published by SC BIZ media.
EDTS grew 198.4 percent during the two-year 2010-2011 period. MarabuNorth America of North Charleston was named the fastest-growing smallcompany overall at the announcement ceremony held in Columbia. Thecompany was also recently named to the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America for the third consecutive year.
EDTS joined 13 other Upstate companies among the statewide RoaringTwenties winners, presented by sponsors Dixon Hughes Goodman, WellsFargo, and the Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, PA law firm.
Twenty large and 20 small companies from across the state werehonored Oct. 25 at Embassy Suites Columbia. Hundreds of business andpublic sector officials were on hand for the announcement ceremony. Allcompanies honored are headquartered in South Carolina. A formula thatawarded points based on both dollar and percentage increases in revenuefrom 2010-2011 was used to level the playing field between companieswithin each category.
