EDTS Named To Top Ten of South Carolina’s Fastest-Growing Companies

COLUMBIA, SC – October 31, 2012 – EDTS, a full-service technology consulting firm specializing in networking, security and managed services support solutions for Southeastern businesses, has been named the seventh overall fastest-growing small company in South Carolina, according to the inaugural statewide Roaring Twenties list published by SC BIZ media.
EDTS grew 198.4 percent during the two-year 2010-2011 period. Marabu North America of North Charleston was named the fastest-growing small company overall at the announcement ceremony held in Columbia. The company was also recently named to the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America for the third consecutive year.
EDTS joined 13 other Upstate companies among the statewide Roaring Twenties winners, presented by sponsors Dixon Hughes Goodman, Wells Fargo, and the Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, PA law firm.
Twenty large and 20 small companies from across the state were honored Oct. 25 at Embassy Suites Columbia. Hundreds of business and public sector officials were on hand for the announcement ceremony. All companies honored are headquartered in South Carolina. A formula that awarded points based on both dollar and percentage increases in revenue from 2010-2011 was used to level the playing field between companies within each category.
