Elizabeth Webber-Akre Has Been Awarded the Certified Residential Specialist Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists

COLUMBIA, SC – June 8, 2009 – The Central Carolina REALTORS® Association (CCRA) is pleased to announce Elizabeth Webber-Akre, a Columbia REALTOR®, has been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. 

REALTORS® who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Fewer than 38,000 REALTORS® nationwide have earned the credential.

Home buyers and sellers can be assured that CRS Designees subscribe to the strict REALTOR® code of ethics, have access to the latest technology and are specialists in helping clients maximize profits and minimize costs when buying or selling a home.

 

About Elizabeth Webber-Akre

Elizabeth has achieved great success within the Re/Max system and truly represents the REALTOR® spirit in all that she undertakes from working with buyers and sellers to her profession. Elizabeth is an active member in her community as well. She has served on numerous committees at both the local association as well as at the state level. She is currently the Secretary of the Board of Directors at CCRA. She is also the Region 3 Vice President for the South Carolina REALTOR® Association, is a REALTOR® Political Action Committee Trustee and is the 2009 Chair for the SCR Convention Committee. Elizabeth was named the REALTOR® of the Year and the President’s Excellence Program Award Winner in 2008 by CCRA.

Elizabeth has served on the Columbia Board of Zoning Appeals for the last six years and currently serves as the Chairperson. She is an Advisory Member of the City of Columbia Tree and Appearance Commission. She is also a very active member of the Columbia Junior League chairing the Community Board Bank which seeks out organizations that need volunteers for their Board of Directors and various projects.
