Elliott Davis, LLC Admits New Shareholders

CHARLESTON, SC – September 1, 2011 – The shareholders of ElliottDavis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting servicesfirms in the Southeast, are pleased to announce they have admitted sevennew shareholders, bringing the total number of firm shareholders to 56. 

EricLevy, a certified public accountant and personal financial specialist,is located in the firm’s Charleston, S.C. office. With more than 14years of accounting and financial management experience, he focuses onproviding income and estate tax services to closely-held businesses andindividuals. Levy is a member of the American Institute of CertifiedPublic Accountants and South Carolina Association of Certified PublicAccountants. He earned his Master of Professional Accountancy and B.S.in Accounting from Clemson University.

J.Ira Bedenbaugh is located in the firm’s Greenville, S.C. office. Withmore than 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, he chairsElliott Davis’ Medical Consulting practice, assisting physicianpractices and hospitals with their strategic initiatives, dailyfinancial management and operational needs. Bedenbaugh earned his M.B.A.and his B.S. in Financial Management from Clemson University.

ScottA. Henderson, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’sCharlotte, N.C. office. With more than 20 years of public accountingexperience, he co-chairs Elliott Davis’ Transaction Services practice.Henderson is a member of the American Institute of Certified PublicAccountants. He earned his Bachelor of Economics from MacquarieUniversity.

JamesM. Manley, Jr., a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’sGreenwood, S.C. office. With more than 17 years of public accountingexperience, he provides assurance, accounting and tax services toclients across a wide-range of industries including closely-heldbusinesses. Manley is a member of American Institute of Certified PublicAccountants and South Carolina Association of Certified PublicAccountants. He earned his Master of Professional Accountancy fromClemson University and B.S. in Accounting from Lander University.

TerriG. McNaughton, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’sGreenville, S.C. office. With more than 15 years of public accountingexperience, she chairs Elliott Davis’ Employee Benefit Plan practice.McNaughton is a member of the American Institute of Certified PublicAccountants, South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants,Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and New Brunswick Instituteof Chartered Accountants. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce inAccounting from Mount Allison University.

EricD. Pitts, a certified public accountant, is located in the firm’sGreenville, S.C. office. With more than 14 years of accountingexperience, he provides assurance and transaction services to clientsacross a wide-range of industries. Pitts is a member of AmericanInstitute of Certified Public Accountants and South Carolina Associationof Certified Public Accountants. He earned his B.A. Accounting fromClemson University.

Richard F. Hewitt, Jr., a certified public accountant, is located in thefirm’s Columbia, S.C. office. With more than 18 years of accounting andconsulting experience, he co-chairs Elliott Davis’ Transaction Servicespractice. Hewitt is a member of the American Institute of CertifiedPublic Accountants and South Carolina Association of Certified PublicAccountants. He earned his J.D. and Master of International BusinessStudies from the University of South Carolina and his B.A. in Accountingfrom Furman University.
