New Affiliate to Provide Investment Advisory Services to Clients

GREENVILLE, SC – October 16, 2008 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting and business advisory firms in the Southeast, announces the recent formation of Elliott Davis Investment Partners, its regional investment advisory firm affiliate.

Elliott Davis Investment Partners creates objective and competent investment solutions that are customized to meet the needs of individuals, companies, endowments and foundations. This partnership is a combination of two investment advisory firms, Hamilton Joseph Investment Consulting and Elliott Davis Wealth Management, both with extensive backgrounds in offering investment advisory services. The range of services offered includes fiduciary investment consulting to corporate retirement plans, high net worth individuals, endowments and foundations, financial and estate planning, and wealth management.

Elliott Davis Investment Partners consists of 16 professionals with the following credentials: two certified public accountants (CPA), four certified Financial Planners (CFP), three Accredited Investment Fiduciaries (AIF), two Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA), and two operational professionals with over 20 years experience.

Philip H. Brice, AIF® and Kenneth J. Vilcheck, AIF® co-founded Hamilton Joseph in 2002. Brice has more than 25 years experience as an investment advisor. He was formerly the consulting group director with Smith Barney providing investment advisory services to high net worth clients, corporate retirement plans, endowments and foundations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Presbyterian College.

Kenneth J. Vilcheck has more than 20 years experience as an investment consultant. He formerly served in Smith Barney’s consulting group. Vilcheck earned a bachelor’s degree from Furman University, and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

Jeremy Elliott, CPA, CFP®, who has led Elliott Davis Wealth Management since 2004, has more than 15 years of wealth management experience providing investment, tax, and business valuation services. He earned a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of South Carolina.
