Emmanuel’s Hammer raises $225K during annual Builder’s Breakfast
March 25, 2025Emmanuel’s Hammer, a nonprofit, faith-based organization providing home rehabilitation services for under-resourced homeowners, hosted its 9th Builder’s Breakfast on Thursday, March 13. The event raised $225,000, setting a donation record during the organization’s annual fundraising event.
Donors, vendors, and staff attended the event to celebrate the work done in Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina. The donations received during the event will continue to support Emmanuel’s Hammer’s work to provide decent homes to those in the
most critical need and develop sustainable solutions for its clients.
Myra Ruiz with FOX Carolina was the guest speaker, interviewing a homeowner recipient of services, an in-kind donor, and a construction volunteer. Their comments about the work Emmanuel’s Hammer provides were inspirational. Since its inception, Emmanuel’s Hammer has completed over 600 disaster relief, repair, or remodel missions. For every $1.00 donated, $2.76 is invested in local communities served by Emmanuel’s Hammer through volunteer labor, donated materials, and in-kind donations. Emmanuel’s Hammer work impacts the Upstate and Western North Carolina communities, with 100% of donations received going to those efforts.
