Endeavor hosts premiere collaborators & cocktails networking event
June 30, 2016Featuring Susan Credle, the first female global chief creative officer of an international agency
Endeavor, a membership-based co-working community for independent companies and freelancers in the creative services fields, is hosting its first Collaborators & Cocktails, a monthly networking series for members and guests. The first guest speaker is Susan Credle, the global chief creative officer for FCB, a fully integrated agency with over 120 offices in more than 80 countries with over 8,000 professionals and a culture that goes back to 1873.
“I can’t tell you how excited I am to welcome Susan to Endeavor and to introduce someone of her caliber and talent to our members,” said Joe Erwin, president of Erwin Creates and founder of Endeavor. “She has an unbelievable story of working her way up from starting as a temp receptionist to becoming the first female chief creative officer of a global agency. This is an excellent opportunity for Endeavor members and other creatives in our area to mingle with and hear from one of the best creative minds in the advertising industry.”
Credle spent over two decades at BBDO/NY, where she rose from “bathroom break girl” for the agency’s receptionists to EVP, executive creative director. There, she, with her partner, Steve Rutter, reinvented the iconic M&M’S characters; helped turn Cingular Wireless from a small challenger brand into a category leader; and created other consistently award-winning work for such clients as Bank of America, FedEx, Gillette, Lowe’s, PepsiCo, Pizza Hut and Visa.
In 2009 Credle joined Leo Burnett USA as CCO. She raised the bar for the work and nurtured a collaborative environment that produced some of the agency’s most memorable campaigns in years, including the multimedia Allstate “Mayhem” campaign, the #EsuranceSave30 Twitter campaign and Secret’s anti-bullying initiative, “Mean Stinks,” which continues to make a difference in young girls’ lives. She joined FCB as global CCO in January 2016.
Collaborators & Cocktails is the first of a series of monthly networking events that Endeavor will host for members. The event will start at 5 pm, with Credle giving a presentation and Q&A session at 5:30 pm. The event is free to members, and there are a limited number of guest tickets available for $25. Registration is required. Contact [email protected] for more information.
