Engenius chooses website to makeover for free

GREENVILLE, SC – The people have voted, and one Upstate business is getting a new website via Engenius.
Outman Cigars has won the 2014 Upstate’s Worst Website Competition. Engenius’ web and marketing team will spend the next few weeks creating a new website from scratch for Outman, said Chris Manley, Engenius’s managing partner.
“We started this campaign as an opportunity to help businesses grow one of their most important avenues of communications – their websites,” Manley said.
Dozens of websites were submitted, and a panel of judges reviewed them to come up with the finalists in July, he said. From there, voting was opened up to the public. The votes for Outman more than doubled the other finalist, AAA Fencecrafters.
“The painful part of finding the worst website is over,” Manley said. “Now comes the fun part of building a website that will match this amazing business.”
