Engenius Grants help Shalom House

GREENVILLE, SC – November 18, 2013 – Shalom House Ministries has a new website after being one of the 2013 Engenius Grant award recipients.

Engenius Grants include a fully developed website, marketing strategy, content development, and ongoing hosting and support for two local non-profits annually, said Chris Manley, managing partner at Engenius. Shalom House is the first announced recipient for 2013. Nearly two dozen Upstate non-profits applied for the grants in 2013.

Effective marketing is crucial to the success of nonprofits in today’s world, said Chris Manley, managing partner. Engenius is proud to support Shalom House Ministries in its mission.

Shalom House Ministries provides a long-term, safe, supportive community for women to pursue a life free from alcohol and drug addiction.  Their goal is to allow women the time necessary to learn to live a life of sobriety. The Shalom House Ministries includes: Shalom Center, a long term recovery center located in Belton; Shalom House, a halfway house in Anderson, for women who have completed treatment; Shalom Family Center, a place of support for those who love the addict; and Remnants, an antique, gift and thrift store in downtown Anderson.
