Engenius’ Samantha Wagner completes Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Pacesetter Program

Samantha Wagner, Engenius’ Sales and Marketing Coordinator, recently successfully completed Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s Pacesetter 2022 Program. Wagner was selected to be a part of the annual leadership program late last year, and the six-month program kicked off in February 2022 and concluded in November 2022. Pacesetters is a group mentoring program designed to connect high-potential young professionals with Greenville’s most innovative and successful leaders in Greenville from varying and diverse fields.
Pacesetters afford young professionals chosen by Greenville Chamber’s program directors the unique opportunity to develop their leadership skills through training sessions, mentoring with successful community leaders, and networking with young professionals. The small group format allows this program to be tailored to its individual members, and every class is involved in a community service project.
“With the tumultuous nature of these last few years, Pacesetters has been a refreshing and inspiring program for me,” said Samantha Wagner of Engenius. “Getting to build relationships, develop professional expertise, and serve our community along with other passionate young professionals is incredible. I’m thankful for time and flexibility Engenius’ provide me so that I could participate in Pacesetters and grateful to the Chamber for running this impactful program.”
The 2022 Pacesetter Class service project was a “Back-to-School” giveaway for kids served by Greenville’s Phyllis Wheatley Community Center. The Pacesetter Class worked with The Smiley Jay Foundation, a charity of Atlanta Braves pitcher Jay Jackson, to host an event at the Phyllis Wheatley Community Center to give away Chromebooks, tablets, backpacks and other school supplies to help kids be prepared for the school year.
Wagner added, “The service project opened my eyes to some of the specific needs of kids living in Greenville County and created connections and experiences that will leave a lasting impression on me for many years.”
A graduate of Wofford College with a BA in Humanities and Spanish, Wagner has worked at Engenius since 2020 and is responsible for managing the inbound sales function, sales and marketing and writing project proposals and developing website content.
