Eddie Wales, Owner, Motor Supply Company Bistro

Eddie Wales, owner of Motor Supply Company Bistro, has been active in the Columbia, S.C. hospitality and green-business scenes for years.

Eddie grew up in Spartanburg and attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia. In 1989, he began waiting tables at Motor Supply, working his way up the ladder to become General Manager. In 1994, Eddie left Motor Supply and moved with his then-fiancé, now wife, Tracy, to Athens, Ga.

The couple returned to Columbia and Eddie purchased the restaurant in 2000.

Motor Supply Co. Bistro serves fresh, local and diverse dishes. Their menu changes daily for lunch and dinner, offering diners something new and delicious every time they come through the door.
