Wade Sellers, Owner, Coal Powered Filmworks
Coal Powered Filmworks, a Columbia, S.C. based broadcast production company is celebrating their 10th anniversary this fall. The five-time Southeast Regional Emmy® nominated company, founded in 2008 by owner Wade Sellers, has been lauded both nationally and internationally for their work. A 2016 documentary production “Return to Normandy” was an opening night film of the 2017 Normandie International Film Festival.
Sellers’ company has provided award winning commercial and documentary work to numerous local, state, and federal organizations as well as to the arts and small business clients including ExperienceColumbiaSC, for their work on a recent national tourism campaign.
They tell stories with pictures. These stories can be 10 seconds or 90 minutes in length, but every production has one common trait- Coal Powered loves telling these stories and sharing them with a large and diverse audience.
