Entrepreneurs find rare startup opportunities at IngeniousSC!
January 13, 2016BMW Startup Garage and IngeniousSC! Seek Brilliant Ideas During SC Auto Week 2016
Registered attendees of IngeniousSC! in February will have a rare opportunity to hear from one of the world’s most dynamic automotive startup incubators. On Feb. 24, Gregor Gimmy, Founder and Head of the BMW Startup Garage in Germany, will present live via Skype. He’ll explain his organization’s unique mission and the type of innovative entrepreneurs they seek partnerships with.
Part of the BMW Group — makers of BMW, Mini and Rolls Royce — the BMW Startup Garage is a startup’s gateway into the global automotive industry. It offers aspiring automotive industry entrepreneurs a no-strings-attached co-development partnership, as well as a network of top automotive engineers and managers. It provides entrepreneurs a fast track into the automotive industry, allowing them to validate solutions while learning about the automotive industry and networking with key decision makers.
Gimmy’s presentation will take place at 12:45 p.m. at MC2, host site of IngeniousSC!, a featured program of SC Auto Week. Dozens of executives, directors, engineering and R&D professionals and investors from across the automotive manufacturing spectrum are expected to participate. A joint production of CU-ICAR and the SC Automotive Council, IngeniousSC! offers a preview of the latest commercial-ready technologies developed by industry, universities and research organizations. To be considered, technologies must fall within one of three tracks: Products, Information Technology, or Manufacturing Processes/Supply Chain. Manufacturers and venture capitalists will evaluate the innovations and consider opportunities for investing in them.
