Erwin Penland Hires Four, Promotes Four
May 30, 2012GREENVILLE, SC – May 29, 2012 – Erwin Penland has hired Anna Bartok as account executive, Robbie Cobb as senior UI designer, Jennifer Fernandes as account executive and Linda Fung as graphic designer, in addition to promoting Jason Craft to illustrator, Andy Heck to art director, Ashley Metcalf to senior account executive and Katie Sholler to senior graphic designer. Bartok arrives at Erwin Penland as an account executive, where she’ll work on the agency’s Verizon Wireless account. She joins EP after working for print shop Post No Bills in Columbia, S.C. Bartok earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of South Carolina, S.C.
Cobb joins the agency as senior UI designer, working on a variety of accounts including Verizon, Greenville Drive and Advance America. Prior to joining EP, he worked at Ferebee Lane + Co in Greenville as a senior designer, and earned a bachelor of art and graphic design from Anderson University, S.C.
Fernandes will work on the Verizon national retail business and arrives at Erwin Penland from Zimmerman Advertising in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where she worked as an account executive. She earned a bachelor of journalism from the University of Missouri.
In her role as graphic designer, Fung will assist with all of the accounts that come through the agency’s design studio. Previously, she worked as a manager and graphic designer at Ganbai Restaurant in Lexington, S.C., and earned a bachelor of fine arts in graphic design from the University of South Carolina.
Craft has been promoted to illustrator and will continue to work on the Verizon, Denny’s and Michelin accounts. He holds a bachelor of fine arts in illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design, Ga.
Heck has been promoted to art director and will continue to work on the Denny’s account, in addition to the Greenville Drive business. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Clemson University, S.C.
Metcalf was promoted to senior account executive and will continue her work on the Verizon shopper marketing account. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in art history from the University of South Carolina.
Sholler was promoted to senior graphic designer and will continue her work on the Verizon business. She earned a bachelor of science in graphic communications with a Spanish minor from Clemson University.
