Erwin-Penland Promotes Two, Hires Three

GREENVILLE, SC – May 3, 2011 – Erwin-Penland (EP), a division of The Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday and one of the five largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast, has promoted Andy Heck to assistant art director and David Mitchell to senior account executive.  EP has also hired David Dodge as motion graphics designer, Megan Ayers as junior account executive and Jesse Larson as graphic designer.
 
Joining EP nearly two years ago, Heck (pictured, right) has been promoted from senior graphic designer and will now work with account and creative teams to help develop concepts for various clients, including Denny’s.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a Master of Arts degree in professional communication and a Master of Science degree in graphic communication all from Clemson University.
 
David Mitchell has been with EP for three and a half years and has been promoted from account executive.  In this new role, he will manage the development of online business to business materials for Verizon Wireless B2B sales representatives and expand the use of digital systems across the organization.  He earned a bachelor of arts and Masters degrees in marketing from Clemson University.

Megan Ayers (pictured above) joins EP as a junior account executive handling direct marketing services for Verizon Wireless.  Before coming to EP, Ayers served as a customer service representative with Aflac Group Insurance in Columbia, S.C.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in fashion retailing from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

David Dodge (pictured above) joins EP’s Verizon team as a motion graphics designer.  He comes to EP after serving as a graphic artist for FOX Carolina WHNS, also in Greenville.  Dodge earned degrees in both industrial technology and in radio and television broadcasting from Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, S.C.

Jesse Larson (pictured above) comes to EP as a graphic designer for Verizon Wireless.  Before joining EP, he was a freelance graphic designer out of Wilkes-Barre, Penn., working on various clients including NEPA Technology Group.  Larson received a Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design from Bob Jones University, also in Greenville.
