The 32nd Annual Beaufort Shrimp Festival will be at Beaufort’s Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park on Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3. This 2-day event celebrates Lowcountry cuisine and offers fun activities for all ages. The Art & Craft Market starts October 2 from 12- 6 p.m., and the festival kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2 where guests can enjoy food, beverages, and live entertainment. Friday’s live entertainment features Anna Barnes –Blues, Rock, Pop, R&B and Southern Charm at 5:15 p.m., and the Reflex – A Tribute to Duran Duran perform at 7:30 pm.

Festival events continue on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., when festival-goers can enjoy a variety of concerts and visit numerous booths offering samples of Lowcountry dishes. Kid’s Corner is open from 11am – 4 p.m. and Peach Patrol performs at 11:15 a.m. The Parris Island Marine Corp PMG Band performs at 12:30 a.m., the Rotary Shrimp Race starts at 2:00 pm. and the Willie Jackson & The Tybee Blues Band performs at 2:15 p.m.

Admission is free, and food & beverage tickets are $1.00 each. Ticket sales end 15 minutes before the end of the event.
