The 2026 Murrells Inlet Fourth of July Boat Parade, with a theme of “Floating on Freedom: Celebrating 250 Years,” takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, starting around 10 am at Garden City Point. Decorated boats travel through the inlet around 10:30 am.

There will be a $10 entry fee for each boat and the committee is very pleased to announce the return of awards for Best Decorated Boat! There will be a trophy for First, Second and Third place, plus Honorable Mention.

Preferred viewing areas are along the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, Belin United Methodist Church, and Morse Park Landing.
