In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Tidelands Health and the Tidelands Health Georgetown Family YMCA are partnering to host Breast Health 101, a free 30-minute educational session designed to empower community members with essential knowledge about their health.

The interactive session will cover key topics to help individuals take proactive steps in managing their wellness, including:

– Guidance on mammograms and age-appropriate breast cancer screenings.
– How to recognize subtle breast changes to discuss with a healthcare provider.
– Information on financial assistance and community resources available through the Tidelands Breast Health Program for eligible individuals.

Admission is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to bring a friend, family member, or neighbor.
