City of Georgetown CDBG Community Needs Assessment meeting

The City of Georgetown invites all residents to attend a public Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Needs Assessment meeting on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 6:00 pm in the Conference Room at the Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments, located at 1230 Highmarket St., Georgetown, SC 29440.
The purpose of this assessment is to gather vital resident feedback on potential community development activities that may qualify for funding under the South Carolina CDBG State Program. The program’s primary focus is a competitive grant process designed to benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) individuals and neighborhoods.
