Laurens residents will have a chance to talk directly with their city representative this weekend.

Councilwoman Cassandra Campbell will host a District 3 community meeting Saturday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m. at The Ridge, 301 Exchange Drive in Laurens. The gathering is open to everyone.

The meeting is designed as an open forum where residents can bring questions, concerns and good news from their neighborhoods. Campbell also plans to share updates on city events and projects underway in Laurens.

Organizers say the goal is a two-way conversation, with residents helping shape solutions rather than simply receiving information. The invitation encourages District 3 neighbors to come ready to speak up, listen and take part in building a stronger Laurens.
