This monthly hiring event offers prospective applicants an opportunity to learn about available careers within the agency and expedite the initial application and testing process on-site. Positions are currently open across multiple divisions, including: Patrol Deputies (Minimum age: 21);
Corrections Officers (Minimum age: 18); and 9-1-1 Telecommunicators (Minimum age: 18).

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office offers competitive compensation packages, full benefits, generous vacation time, and paid South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy training for required certifications. Qualified personnel are also eligible to participate in the Merit Increase Program beginning at five years of service. Attendees must bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
