As part of South Carolina’s largest volunteer litter cleanup—the statewide Beach Sweep/River Sweep—this event brings together individuals, families, and local groups to clear debris and protect local marine habitats. Supplies and guidance will be provided on-site at East Bay Park in downtown Georgetown.

Hosted by Keep Georgetown Beautiful and the Winyah Rivers Alliance, in partnership with the S.C. Sea Grant Consortium and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.
