Laurens County Democrats to Elect Leadership, Delegates at March 1st Convention
March 1 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Laurens County Democratic Party (LCDP) will hold its crucial county convention on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at 10:00 am in the Laurens County Library meeting room. This important gathering will not only offer an opportunity for local Democrats to connect and network, but will also conduct essential party business, including the election of key leadership positions.
Attendees will elect precinct-level members of the County Executive Committee, the body responsible for determining the budget and priorities of the LCDP. Elections will also be held for local officers who will execute the decisions of the Executive Committee, as well as representatives to the State Executive Committee.
Furthermore, the convention offers a pathway to state-level engagement. Attendees will be eligible to become delegates to the South Carolina Democratic Party Convention on May 31st, where state party officers will be elected.
All registered voters that self-identify as Democrats in Laurens County are eligible to run for any of the available positions. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit their information by completing the form at https://tinyurl.com/lcdpconvention or by emailing [email protected].
