Join the Laurens County Trails Association and the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate the opening of the new May-White Trail at Laurens County Park!
The ribbon-cutting ceremony and guided trail walk will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the park pavilion on Industrial Park Road.
The May-White Trail is named after the rare and beautiful May-White Azalea, first discovered in 1999 and now found in several South Carolina counties, including Laurens County. The trail features plantings of this unique species as part of a larger conservation effort to protect its fragile native habitat.
