SC7 + Nature at Work Trail Talks: Resilience in Action

July 13 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join us for a special Nature at Work Trail Talks experience as part of SC7, South Carolina’s monthlong expedition celebrating the state’s natural and cultural landscapes while connecting people to place, health, community, and outdoor experiences.

Hosted by the South Carolina Office of Resilience in Columbia’s BullStreet District, this special event will explore how resilience, placemaking, and connection to nature can shape healthier communities.

The experience begins at the South Carolina Office of Resilience in the historic Mills Building with a Nature at Work overview, SCOR Resilience 101, and a conversation exploring the connection between resilience, healthy places, and SCOR’s partnership with Nature at Work, including the integration of nature into its new headquarters.

Participants will then transition to nearby Page Ellington Park to explore nature-based resilience solutions in action through a guided outdoor experience focused on green infrastructure, healthy community design, and resilience in practice.

Following the program, attendees are invited to continue the conversation informally at Gather Cola or elsewhere in the BullStreet District.

Whether your interests are in resilience, community development, planning, sustainability, public health, economic development, or healthy places, we hope you’ll join us for this unique SC7 experience.

Space is limited, so advance registration is encouraged.
