Downtown Simpsonville will welcome wine enthusiasts, food lovers, and local shoppers this Friday for the return of Sippin’ in Simpsonville’s Fall Wine Tasting, an evening walking tour pairing regional pours with the city’s vibrant downtown business district.

Organized by the Simpsonville Area Chamber of Commerce, the community event transforms local retail storefronts into tasting stations. Guests will stroll the downtown route to sample more than 25 local, regional, and unique wine selections, with 1-ounce pours served alongside light bites, live music, and evening ambiance.

The rain-or-shine event takes place Friday evening, with check-in located under the large tents on West Curtis Street, sponsored by The Tech Store.

Ticketing and Admission Details

Attendees can select between general admission and upgraded VIP ticket options, with discounted early bird pricing running through Thursday, September 11:

Regular Tickets ($40 early bird; increases to $60 on Sept. 11): Includes 1-ounce pours across more than 25 tasting stops, a commemorative wine tasting glass, an event lanyard with individual stop tickets, and complimentary water and snacks along the route. General check-in opens at 6:00 p.m.

VIP Tickets ($65 early bird; increases to $85 on Sept. 11): Includes all regular ticket amenities, plus early 5:30 p.m. access with dedicated check-in lines, a curated VIP gift, and a full bottle of wine to take home.

Organizers note that check-in operations on West Curtis Street will shut down promptly at 8:00 p.m. on Friday night.

According to Chamber guidelines, all tickets and host business registrations are non-refundable once purchased, though ticket holders unable to attend may transfer or resell their passes to another guest. If the Chamber cancels or reschedules the event, guests will be offered the option to transfer their tickets or request a refund.
