The Big Red Barn Retreat announced the 3rd annual Southern Shuckdown Charity Oyster Roast, presented by The Folline King Group at Merrill Lynch, A Bank of America Company. This fun-filled event will be held on April 4th, 2025 from 6 PM to 10 PM at the beautiful and historic 701 Whaley St. Columbia, SC. All money raised at the Southern Shuckdown will benefit the Big Red Barn Retreat and support the programs and services it provides to our Veterans, Active-Duty service members, First Responders, and their families in the Midlands and beyond.
Featuring live music from ‘She Might Get Loud,’ which includes our very own board member James Smith, alongside delicious oysters and an abundant southern buffet feast, this unique event will not be one to miss! Tickets to this oyster feast are $75 per person and include freshly roasted oysters, a fully catered southern-themed buffet, and two drinks tickets good for beer and/or wine beverages. About The Big Red Barn Retreat
The Big Red Barn Retreat (BRBR) is a 501(c)(3) located in Blythewood, South Carolina that provides free nonclinical services, programs, and training, including Warrior PATHH, to Veterans, Active-duty service members, and First Responders struggling with military and combat-related stress. Established in 2014, the BRBR helps more than 2,500 military personnel annually. All services provided at the BRBR are funded through grants and private donations.
