The family-friendly event welcomes the entire public to gather in Awendaw for a day centered on fitness, preventive care, and community engagement. The 5K course kicks off at Awendaw Town Hall (6971 Doar Rd) and concludes at the Awendaw Municipal Park (7900 Doar Rd).

Community Health & Free Screenings

As part of its ongoing mission to expand care throughout the region, clinical staff from St. James Health and Wellness Center will be on-site providing free preventive health services, including blood pressure checks, diabetes screenings and general health assessments.

In addition to the 5K route, attendees can enjoy a festive, community-wide atmosphere featuring:

• Local food trucks
• A bounce house and activities for children
• Music throughout the afternoon
• Free fresh fruits and vegetables
• Door prizes and various item giveaways

While community festivities and health screenings are free and open to the public, registration fees apply for 5K race participants:

Adults: $30 – Children (12 & Under): $20

Participants can download the official registration form via the Town of Awendaw News and Events portal. Completed registration forms and payments (cash or check only; no credit or debit cards accepted) must be submitted directly to Town Hall no later than one week prior to the event.
