The Marine Corps was formed on November 10, 1775, by the Second Continental Congress, with the first Marines enlisting under Commandant Samuel Nicholas.
That was some 247 years ago at Tunn Tavern. There is no better place to celebrate a birthday than at Palmetto Brothers! This year, just as last, we will honor the USMC tradition before trivia at 7 pm. Calling all Vets, Reservists, or active service members to join during a cake-cutting ceremony, and birthday message reading!
