Riley Institute at Furman, WYFF 4 to livestream event
With the South Carolina Republican primary less than two weeks away, the Riley Institute at Furman University will team up with WYFF 4 on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. to livestream a voter focus group conducted by nationally known pollster Peter Hart.
Hart, the pollster for NBC News and Wall Street Journal, will conduct a 90-minute focus group consisting of 10 South Carolina Republicans who have committed to vote in the state’s Feb. 20Republican primary. The exclusive livestream event, which will take place in the WYFF 4 studios, will be available online as well as on the WYFF 4 app.

The voters in the focus group will share their thoughts on the candidates, the issues, and the political advertising for the presidential race.
Hart, one of America’s leading pollsters and public policy experts, is on the Furman campus this week as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow in Residence. He also gave a lecture on Wednesday night, “The Mood of America 2016: The Presidential Race.”
Hart appears frequently on major television programs that discuss public policy issues, including Meet the Press, The Today Show, and The NewsHour. He has been the pollster for NBC News and The Wall Street Journal since 1989, and he has represented numerous American political figures, including 55 Senators and 40 Governors.
