Exploring the Wonders of Science: Presbyterian College’s Science Community Day
February 25, 2024Presbyterian College is set to host an engaging and educational event, “Science Community Day,” on Sunday, March 3, from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at the East Plaza of the campus across from Greenville Dining Hall (401 S Holland Street, Clinton). This event promises an afternoon filled with science experiments, demonstrations, refreshments, and enjoyable yard games for the entire community to enjoy.
Organized by the PC chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS), Science Community Day aims to bring together individuals of all ages and backgrounds for an interactive and entertaining exploration of science. The event is open to everyone, making it an ideal opportunity for families, students, and science enthusiasts to come together and celebrate the wonders of the scientific world.
The East Plaza of Presbyterian College, where the event is set to take place, offers a convenient outdoor space for attendees to enjoy the festivities. In case of inclement weather, Science Community Day will be relocated to the Mabry Smith Yonce Center. The Yonce Center, located at 5th Ave, Clinton, SC 29325, will provide ample space for all the planned activities.
The lineup for Science Community Day includes a variety of science experiments and demonstrations that are sure to captivate the audience. The event will also feature yard games such as cornhole, kan-jam, connect 4, and more. Additionally, there will be refreshments available, including pizza and drinks.
Parking for the event is easy with designated signs and volunteers stationed around the East Plaza to direct cars into the proper parking lots and spaces.
