Fall Fun at the Laurens Library: A Colorful Exploration for Kids!

October 28, 2024

The magic of fall will come alive for young learners at the Laurens Library on November 4, as part of this month’s STEM activity designed to engage children ages 6 to 10. Starting at 4:00 pm, participants will uncover the science behind why leaves change color each autumn.

This interactive session invites kids to explore the vibrant world of fall foliage. Attendees will extract natural colors from autumn leaves, allowing them to see firsthand the pigments that give fall its rich hues. They’ll also create leaf rubbings to take home, adding a fun seasonal touch to their decorations.

This event is free and open to the public, making it a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy some educational and creative autumn fun together.
