FastTrac® for the Female Entrepreneur launches in Columbia November 11

The McNair Center for Entrepreneurism at Columbia College will offer Kauffman FastTrac® for Female Entrepreneurs starting November 11, running through February. FastTrac is a course designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs in the early stages of business development and the female-only course is tailored to help women launch or grow businesses by providing essential framework, strategies, and insights along with a reliable support network of leaders and peers. FastTrac for Female Entrepreneurs will be offered for over five Saturday sessions, culminating with a graduation showcase and live audience pitching.
“FastTrac courses not only help aspiring and established entrepreneurs uncover answers, they also help individuals determine the right questions to ask,” said Dr. Christine Lomer La Cola, co-director of the McNair Center for Entrepreneurism at Columbia College. “FastTrac training allows you to save time and money by testing the feasibility of your business concept before you launch.”
FastTrac teaches entrepreneurs how to identify and meet market needs, as well as access human, business and financial resources. The course also facilitates networking between entrepreneurs and professionals. The course is offered with support from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation.
Kauffman FastTrac is a leading global provider of entrepreneurship education programs. Over the past 25 years, FastTrac courses and workshops have helped more than 350,000 entrepreneurs assess their business ideas and start and grow their businesses. The McNair Center for Entrepreneurism at Columbia College is one of two Kauffman FastTrac affiliates in South Carolina and offers entrepreneurship educational programs across the state.
FastTrac for Female Entrepreneurs offers a registration fee of $400, payable in a $100 seat deposit, and monthly installments thereafter.
